Sorry to hear that Sandy, hurry up and feel better soon
Carol I emailed H&B and they do have the psyllium product identical to the one I use.
Thank you so much for the info....saves me dragging a big jar around...
Winning.....

Sandy, where on earth are all these bugs coming from ? You expect to pick up a few in warmer weather but not in mid-winter.
I have a vision of them circling around then saying "Oh look, there's Sandy, her immune system's shot to hell,so we might as well have another go at her"
Please feel better soon, and you Doug.Spring won't be long and you need to get out and enjoy it.

Yep, I feel like I have a target for anything medical that can get me, especially if it is strange or doesn't have a medical explanation. For example, years ago I had a spinal tap for some neurological testing, was told I had a one in ten chance getting what they call a spinal tap headache. Of course I got it. Then the usual "cure" didn't work, I had several "blood patch" treatments, literally my own blood being injected into the area where the spinal tap took place and was leaking spinal fluid. The chance of the first patch not working was again one in ten. Long story shortened somewhat, I ended up being a one in a million statistic having to be hospitalized before it was finally brought under control. The "joke" Doug and I have had for years is that if something unusual can go wrong with me, it will.
Feeling a lot better emotionally today, although I ended up with a horrible migraine last night just as I was going to bed. Every time I cough (a lot) my head pounds right now. It is weird, tho, I really feel a lot better emotionally. I would rather have today's predicament then yesterday's foul mood.
And yes, Carol, the sun is out and glorious today.

Aw Sandy hun !!. Your like me then if its going free we will have it 😆.
Love to you n hugs 💕
Trysh glad H&B can save you carting it half way round the world hun . 💕💋

Hi all, still waiting on results on copper tests. Livers still abnormal, so is osmolality, still having hypos and shakes. My CT scan is end of March to see if there is an insulinoma. Anyway, I'm still breathing in and out [emoji3]

Waiting for results can be very hard.
Good to see you are keeping your spirits up Kirstie....not easy.
Sorry you have to go through all that stress.
Feel better soon
Hugs Trysha

Hi Kirsty,I've been worrying about you, so It's good to see your post.

Quick win before we go to visit friends.See ya later.......

Hi all, still waiting on results on copper tests. Livers still abnormal, so is osmolality, still having hypos and shakes. My CT scan is end of March to see if there is an insulinoma. Anyway, I'm still breathing in and out [emoji3]

Hope the waiting goes fast and the results help figure out what is wrong so you can feel better soon. I used to respond "upright and breathing" when people inquired about my health. Several hospital stays have taught me not to be so flippant when responding.

Good Afternoon........Did you know that you lose enough dead skin cells in your lifetime to fill eight 5lb (2kg) flour bags ? I wonder if it's the same whether you're 6 stone or 30 stone ? And also who was interested enough to work it out ?
Aren't people amazing ? Taking the win and appreciate your amazement.

The mind boggles.I think everyone is capable of a least one thought that could change the world. And then they turn over and go back to sleep and the eureka moment is forgotten. My bro-in-law,who was a lovable Jack the Lad,wheeler dealer type, had the idea of putting fish into skins, like sausage, and everybody thought he was mad. Many years later the Fish Finger was born. His motto used to be "One idea is worth a lifetime of work"
Winning,night night all x

I want my skin to come back with no wrinkles.
Kirsty, last time you said you were still "breathing in and out," Doug said "that tells you how Kirsty is doing. Not very well." Hope it all goes better, for all of you.
(Trysha, yesterday I accidentally left my purse while in my headachey state in a grocery cart, and by the time I got home and realized what had done, i was very panicked to put it mildly. Got back to the store where the store manager had it in a safe with every dollar, dime, card and used kleenex. Some honest person turned it in and it stayed safe through the whole ordeal.)

Oh!!Sandy glad you got it back safe n sound as it were. I left my debit card in the bus station travel shop when i went to get my bus pass for work. Realised when i got to work . Phoned the shop and it was there phew . Assistant spotted it and put it behind the counter. Old age n fuzzy brain ...😕
Thus the change to fuzzy butterfly.
Love to all 💕

It's good to hear of such positive experiences after my two negative ones
So glad for you Sandy and Mandy
I am getting very panicked right now over silly things that could be avoided..maybe my thyroid medication needs adjustment.....
I no longer carry a handbag but keep a small wallet containing only necessary cards and very little cash.
Today at the dentist I placed the smaller wallet in my slacks pocket from the inside coat pocket
I forgot what I did as I was leaving the office and panicked the staff as well as myself
Then I remembered it in my slacks....I feel so embarrassed.Have to do better.
I miss the handbag keeping things organized.
Kirsty....hope you are feeling better....
Winning...........(maybe)

Nice win Trysha. I paid my rent yesterday. Got to work went to get my card to pay for my lunch..no card😯.after a quick panic i had put in in my bills purse not my normal one . You are not alone 💕💕

Winning. Gotta run. I learned on "Mythbusters" yesterday that being slapped really can help you concentrate better after the slap, so slaps to all of you. (And me. ):lol2:

Good to be able to activate LOW again....that was quite a while MIA....
Shows how much we take for granted.....until it's taken away...
Looks like we are about to receive a deluge of snow after a heat wave yesterday
Lovely picture Sandy...he looks so comfortable and I really liked your bugs bunny
Winning,......

Good afternoon.....did you know that Americans use 16,000 tons of aspirin a year ?

That's some bad headache !!!

Winning.

Could that be a Trumping headache?
Very cold out there...still debating whether to venture out...
Winning...

Good afternoon.....did you know that Americans use 16,000 tons of aspirin a year ?

Winning.

Yes, all that aspirin is needed to deal with our current politics. The current candidates for upcoming presidential election are all one big headache. I just found out thru relativefinder.org that I am 10th cousin to Barak Obama. Aaarrrrggghh! Scary. (And Carol, Allie presented that belly in anticipation of you being around. She said thanks.)

So sorry Sandy. :ylol: Give Allie's belly a rub from me. She's adorable! I have an allergy to Aspirin/Ibuprofen. NSAIDS make me break out in hives and my throat swells shut. :hallo3:

Aye we did Carol. Now we can carry on winning ☺
Sandy im coming for Allie sorry but i just have to get my hands on that little cuteie.☺
Hope everyone is good today. Love n hugs 💕💕

I've sat here for 5 mins.trying to think of something worth while to say,but you'll have to make do with be well and be happy crohnie family.

Winning

Noble sentiments Carol.....who can best that
Things will liven up later
Looking forward to 10 -20cms of snow on the way...winters final? blast.....
Strong gusty winds..
Yesterday the wind blew bills out of my bag and I had to chase after them,,,,was on my way to the bank to pay them.it also blew me along and at one point lifted me off my feet...
an almost imitation of Mary Poppins sans umbrella.....great life if you don't weaken.
Today I will wear lead lined boots!!
Looks like a fun day..
Winning....so far...

Hahaha Trysha..........Book title

The Trials And Tribulations Of Trysha (told with tongue in cheek of course)

Trysha, I think life is lively enough for you. Keep grounded today! 💛
Shanen, I can't take aspirin or NSAIDS either, but for a different reason, because of the blood thinners I will have to be on for the rest of my life. It very much limits pain management, doesn't it? More narcotics for me, tho
Allie couldn't help but give one last pose for the time being. I told her she is getting to like her pictures too much so we have to put a stop to it for awhile, so she decided to go out with a doozy. (Mandy, Allie wants to know if you can support her in the manner to which she has become accustomed.)

Perilous Pitfalls more like Carol
Still debating whether to go out...they keep saying the storm is approaching...ever closer
Maybe I could beat it if I hurry
The local department store has some specials in the beauty section..Estée Lauder exclusives.
I might miss it all if I don't get there and I want to get these gifts for my family.
Can't use them any more, myself having developed so many allergies...due to too many drugs that don't work....
Winning.......

Sandy of course i would. Id treat like a queen her hun. ☺💕 i fear that she loves you to much to leave you tho ..
Mary poppins if you went on your shopping trip, hope you got some bargins Trysha💕💕
Carol hope you are keeping well to hun. I wont say and behaving as i know you cant..

I did a Thelma and Louise yesterday. Went coast to coast with my neighbour 370 kms return to pick up some nice rocks, and sit with a mama seal and seal pups as huge waves crashed around us. I'll post pics tomorrow [emoji3]. I had an adventure, I got to wear my tramping boots, balance on logs over a swamp, walk through rivers and climb rocks! Now I'm totally buggered but happy.

Those are my kind of days, Kirsty! I'm glad you had a good time, now rest up.
I felt like I got a lot done yesterday (for me), which also felt good. I won't post a picture of my laundry tho.:ylol:
Hope everyone has a great day. Back to sleep for me (falling asleep as I am typing this. . .) :bigwave:Zzzzzz

Would love to have joined you yesterday Kirstie.....what a lovely time you had
But what is Thelma and Louise?
We had a huge snowstorm yesterday so I stayed within the four walls of my apartment...
Bored to tears...
Today it's street clean up day....tons of snow have to wait for its clearance by the city...they do a good job but there's so much to move.
Looking forward to your pictures Kirstie
Winning...

Thelma & Louise is a movie about two friends who went on a road trip. The good part was they got to meet a very young Brad Pitt, but they decided to drive off a cliff at the end of the film.

Today I looked in a mirror and didn't like what I saw.......so I went and looked in another mirror.
Now does anyone else do that,or is it just me ?

Winning

Na me too carol . Only thing is i still dont recognise the old face that peers back at me from any of the many i check. Who is she ??? :rof:

Mirror mirror on the wall
I am the fairest of you all
Since I went to the beauty salon today and left transformed
Not saying what I looked like before going though...........
Did get some compliments from sales clerks while shopping ........
That could have been biased since I was the last of the big spenders buying gifts to bring on my visit .
Also saw the GP today not very encouraging ...the latest ECG shows a defect in the left atrium...whatever that means...so off to the cardiologist for echo etc
The second bombshell was the bone scan results so off to the rheumatologist
for further evaluation and treatment
Now await appointment days...
At least other things are quiescent...you all know what I mean....
Did you see the picture of the lady tugging a huge alligator out of her swimming pool? It was very reluctant to get out....she was grimly determined tugging away with him on the end of the rope.....she won.
Bit mean not to share a big pool like that!
Winning.......

wow,I scrolled through all the post from the 'last read' icon. What keeps going through my mind as I read all the posts?I want a belly rub!Thanks...I needed that. Win,Win,Win...of course...hanging out on the coast with K,friend and critters and a belly rub...oh,wait.The dog gets the belly rub?Damn,I read that wrong.Win.

Good to see you back Dave........I guess all that reading kept you busy
How are things with you.....hope everything is ok ...
Winning.....

Trysha, you can't win for losin'! I think I'm going off to the beauty salon myself soon too, as my hair is getting out of control. It needs to be shaped so desperately, but I hate to cut any length off of it as it grows so slow. I also want to color my hair auburn again.
Mirrors? I just avoid them at present. Maybe soon I won't have to anymore...
Dave, we missed you! Glad to see you around! Just send belly rubs Allie's direction, and maybe she will send you a dog biscuit back in return. (Tee hee.) How's the wife these days? And your dogs? How's the health? Stick around...

Nice to see you Dave,I thought I had said something to upset you......as if !!!
Trysha,I thought you were going to say that the lady wrestling the alligator was you.
hahaha. I wouldn't have been surprised mind you.

Winning, and I will be back later to see if anyone has dared to challenge me !!!

Hi Carol
That was an awful ending to Thelma and Louise...unless they were rescued...why would they do that. ?
I would take on the alligator wrestle but will not for two reasons...the alligator is a noble and friendly fellow and secondly I have a balance problem (TBI)... Nuff said
Few snow flurries today plenty of snow to go around. The supermarket has a twelve foot mountain of it...slip sliding away..
Winning......

Ewwwwww! I don't think of alligators as noble and friendly fellows! Maybe they are noble in their own right, but they give me the creeps, and they are not friendly. Granted, they are just trying to survive. Just my opinion.
Mandy, I once, for a college project, wrote a poem called "Alleteration of the a Butterfly Battle" which reminds me of you. If I can find it, I will send you a copy. I was rather proud of that poem if I say so myself. :)

Good morning peeps.Did you know that in the last 3,000 years no new animals have been domesticated ? And very few husbands too,I may add.

Winning

Thanks Mandy, I do believe that I'm on the better than I have been in a long time side, health wise. Still have a cough, but a lot better, and for a change, I don't have some other strange illness moving in (knock on wood). Hope you are doing well.
But I'm winning.

Good to hear you are feeling better Sandy.....lets hope it stays that way especially with springtime around the corner...
We had more snow ....sigh...but the sun is shining today so it's not all bad... the snow does beautify the landscape transforms it and it's so lovely if you don't have to go out in it.
There are a lot of wild animals out there according to your report Carol...thanks for the info...
I suspect some have two legs........
Winning....

Hi all, glad you seem to be fighting fit (well, enough to fight over the win at least)😃 Sandy so glad your on the mend hun.
Today in 1946 Winston Churchill delivered his famous Iron Curtain Speech..
Oh well thats enough triva for now...
WINING 😇angelicly
💕

Today 47 yrs ago,our son was one hour old.It took him 2 days to finally make his mind up.
He's much the same now.I decided to stop at one, tried it once and didn't like it.
He's just emailed from Bali airport,so at least he made it after the "boys"weekend.
Winning excitedly.

Aw Carol. Bet it dont seem like 47yrs ago eh? Ye i only did the one to. Wise choice me thinks lol. Not long now hun. Woo hoo .
Back to you winning excitedly :dusty:

Snow is mostly gone here, exposing the dried up dead grasses from last fall. Need a good shower to rinse and renew the landscape but it's that time where it's not really winter anymore yet too early to be called full on springtime. I'm happy to see tulips and daffodils at the stores even if they are not yet blooming locally. Had to get a bouquet to brighten my table on cloudy days. 💐

Hi Shanen,I hope you're much improved. Is going back to work imminent,or is that a nasty four letter word ?
I just wanted to say daffs are flowering along our verges.
When Scott left school he worked in the gardening/grounds dept.for the local council. He planted millions of bulbs in our area. They always make me smile.I'm glad they're in bloom for his visit.

Shanen and Carol you are so lucky to be seeing the daffodils
All we see is ice and snow....lots of it...even though it was a lovely sunny day it does not melt...it's too cold
I am surprised the snow has left Minnesota usually hangs around longer than ours
Winning.....

It's awful early for the snow to be gone in Minnesota Trysha. It was 60 degrees Fahrenheit today. I know it can't last but I'm enjoying every minute I can while it's here.
I have one more week Carol and then it's back to work for me. Ugh. I'm really getting used to this being home business. I'm actually physically as ready as can be but i'm not looking forward to returning to work at all.

We have had days and days and days of spring weather, along with the brown lawns. A couple days ago I saw our first crocus in our yard. But sigh, a cold front, rain, and now snow are back. It was nice while it lasted. I love daffodils and tulips myself. However, right now I have a magnificent amaryllis blooming in my kitchen garden window that has been blooming at some level since Christmas. :)

Hope you are well recovered for your return to work Shanen
I thought it was a bit early for the snow to be gone your way ....
We have visited Minnesota a few times and found it quite chilly in September even, with frost on the ground......and quite glad to get back to balmy Ontario
Winning.....

We've had crocus out for a couple of weeks or more, but my faves are snow drops and they are out in abundance now.But the very best are bluebells,in late Spring, in a fresh leafy woodland. Then you know the winter has really gone.
I'm off before I start writing poetry,that's Trysha's forte.

Winning

Oh to be in England now that spring is there.....
Would love to have all those flowers surrounding me...
Do you ever talk to your trees Carol?
Brilliant sunshine here but the snow does not yet melt...
Hope we don't get any more..snow that is
Winning

Mm iv had no notifications on low today. Thus my late apperance. Had to go via new posts had this happen recently . Well im going to bed. Thinking of flowers thanks girls. ☺💕

Thanks Trysha i slept well. Got a notification this morning yeah!!. Oh well off to work soon.
Hope you all have a good day or night which ever applies.💕

Hi kirsty. Love the pics, that bay looks lovely. The hill is a bit of a puffer(out of breath steep) by the looks of it. ..hope your appiontment goes well hun. Love n hugs 💕💕

Thanks Kirsty,my sort of world.Hope you're doin' ok pet.
Trysha,I LOVE trees, and I get really annoyed when I get loads of junk mail. It's nothing but irresponsible.

Hi Mandy
What kind of notification....was it a website one..if so I also get them and Jennifer has said they are working on it
Kirsty..your pictures are lovely...you are clever to post them I have never figured it out
Hope you are feeling better
Carol I dislike junk mail also such a waste...but I have trees outside my front and side windows the front ones have to come into leaf in springtime the side one is a classic Canadian pine with loads of pine cones every year it's always green.
Winning....

Good Afternoon.....Oscar Wilde once remarked that "America was often discovered before Columbus, but it was always hushed up."

Now some of you might disagree but I think I deserve to win for that.

Oh, I so agree Carol, and anyone who knows history has to agree, the evidence is overwhelming. I don't understand why it is so controversial still.
I love the pics Kirsty. I'm relaxing just seeing them (but being there In person would be so much better.)
I love evergreen trees such as the Canadian pine, or another common one around here is the Colorado blue spruce. Alas, the taller of the evergreen species were all wiped out in this area in a terrible wind storm a few years ago. I have talked about this wind storm before, the one where our house (roof) hit our car after a little tornado. At least we ended up with a much needed new roof.
Today I'm winning because we are getting new flooring in our kitchen, dining and hallways in a few days. Woo hoo!:ysmile:
On top of that, we have a crew taking care of some much needed yard maintenance, clearing out overgrown bushes, trees, pruning roses, clearing weeds. Definitely winning today.

That's great Sandy, you'll be very posh.I love it when stuff gets done, and I can just sit back and enjoy it without having made too much effort.

There's a kid out our front has been kicking and bouncing a ball around for at least an hour.....so I'm winning because I haven't gone out and bounced HIM off the pavement. (YET!!!)
It's really getting right on my wick(nerves)

Hi Trysh. Ye i wasnt get some update notifications inc low. I msgd jennifer to let her know. Things seem ok now at my end.
Hope all are ok .love to all 💕💕💕

Carol........Do you really believe that someone other than Columbus discovered America
Could it perhaps be envy.....by Oscar?
About the bouncing ball...you need a peashooter to deflate it by remote control
Mandy...glad you are back online....

Winning......

Gastro was good. Upshot is he's going to do some thinking, watching and waiting. I'll try and take my two laxatives daily. He will give me another balloon dilatation for oesophagus so I can swallow properly again. He was talking about my butt and said there is another Thing I could try it's like the spray for angina, but for your butt. Oh the joys of being a f

Hi all here I am bright and breezy at 6 am, bringing cheer to the forum ☺hope you all have a good day.
Well that is enough of that, back to being tired and grumpy.. Boy that was hard work. 😴
Did you know that Napoleon Bonaparte married Josephine on this day in 1796!!

Trysha,I think maybe Oscar said that with tongue in cheek.
Kirsty, life must never be boring for you health wise, but I know you wish it was.
I'm amazed at how you all just get on with life.........you're fandazidobie, all of you.

Carol I could not find your fandaze word in the Oxford dictionary
Could you define it for me...
Kirsty..sorry you are having such a tough time ...feel better soon
Winning......

Hi Trysha!

Leif Ericksen led a bunch of Vikings and settled in North America about 1000 AD. Little before Columbus discovered America. Hmm.

Who'd have thought it Doug......good to see you by the way....
Truth stranger than fiction.....
Winning......

It seems that whatever the subject, truth is stranger than fiction. For instance, I'd just about bet that everyone here's life would not be believable if written as a piece of fiction.
The backyard is now trimmed, weeded, pruned, (including dead bush removed), and looking better than it has in ages. It will be so much easier to keep it up this summer. It felt good on a nasty migraine I had today to just sit on a bench on the patio and watch Allie roll in the grass, and breathe the fresh just after a rain air.
Headache aside, life is getting better. :)
