Marmalade is better on toast because the butter is nicely melted into the bread, and you get the real bonus of the warm smell to add to the senses..mmmm.

Thinking about the vitamin d question,

Tube strike is off tomorrow - so none of that healthy walking. It's a thought though - tube journey takes a total of 25 to 35 minutes a day and can be a real pain - walking takes 45 to 55 minutes. So maybe I will be tempted in Summer.

Now I don't know if this is true (but I would like it to be). My shop is opposite St James's Palace - built for Henry VIII. A customer, with an interest in local history, tells me it was the site of Henry VIII's tennis court
 
How interesting Robert---does this mean you get invites for lunch at the palace?
Laid in a tennis court setting--are the floors as resilient as the courts.....just wondering..
There is so much buried history in London.
Our local scientists retrieved and identified the plague bacillus DNA by excavation from a site in London, there is more than one type.Not near St James Palace though.

Well it is a medium to large town - but it is more about the location. Suffolk is the best kept secret in the UK

Let me introduce myself a little. I'm Patria. Just joined this forum. I used to baby diaper my neighbor's son but now he is getting rashes. Any tips? I thought to buy cloth diapers but the problem is the rashes mark won't go soon, his mother will find out then I'll be fired from babysitting job. :yfaint: Any suggestion will be appreciated!!!!
 
Need a win here. Weather has set off pain levels through the roof right now. Knew I was in for it when the weather man said we're getting 8-12 1/2 inches. It's beautiful outside.
 
I tell you I'm making the most of summer and no walking stick. :) apart from the lesion on my throat and small operation coming up. I have stacked all my wood for winter. I want to be nice and toasty this winter.

Of course you can come over for the fire and a cuppa. Operation is removal of a lesion on my right vocal cord and biopsy in March :)

Welcome to you Patria,please ignore Robert,we all do.And the smug mugshot was released by the police when he was wanted for Kylie bothering.:lol2:..........Can't help with the nappy rash except to keep it dry and let the air at it when possible.Can be risky though !!!:smile:

You could try some zinc cream, very healing.Keeping things dry usually helps.
