Robert, have you noticed how most of the pretty girls are in the B team? and now they have cookies..... very tempting.

Im good. I had a aweful flare on New Year's Eve, but I am all better now. What a way to ring in the new year :/

I am gettig ready to go home tomorrow, so more travel a head, but at least I will be flying this time.

Wow Jamie, glad u dont have to drive all that way again. Also good weather for flying!
But I did hear Texas was to get snow! Isnt that rare?

Sandy, you know uir addicted when u post in ur sleep and dont remember. Have u heard from Ashley? How is she doing in her new place?

Me too! I have been watching the weather. It looks like in my area the best snow/rain chances are in the morning. I won't be getting in until 6:00PM. No it is not uncommon to get snow in the panhandle and they can often get 6-8 inches or more. In my area (more central area), it is uncommon. We tend to get more sleet and ice then snow.

saw her for two seconds when she came to get her id which was still here yesterday, but I hibernated today.

Jamie, you going to be glad to be home tomorrow? I used to like to watch "what not to wear" but haven't for a long time

Yes! I had a great time with the fam! My cousins kept me really busy and we were able to go to this toboggan and tube park and it was a blast! We also went ice skating (one of my favorate winter activities). We also ate lots of good food, watched some bowl games, and I got to help my parents shop for the condo. But I am strating to get bored and I do miss my kids!! I also have a lot of work to get back to as well.

So glad u enjoyed urself!!! U needed a rest!
I had a flare too on new years day at my neices bday party and had to leave early. At least I got to see her open her gifts!

Yes! It was soo good just to rest. But now it is back to the grind! We have a retreat in a few weeks, so I have a lot to do before then.

I am from central Texas. Right in the middle!

sorry to take so long to answer, Doug got back from store with my diet coke for head ache. I can't tell secrets, Teresa, or they wouldn't be secrets! I just like to torture you!

Hey!!! Now u sound like the other team!!!
I wonder if anyone will notice anything being out of place on here?
Kirsty hasn't been on in ages. Her new job stole her away from us:thumbdown: :frown:Miss her!

It is an in-town retreat. We split the kids up by gender and age and the stay in church members' homes. During we weekend they have Bible study in the homes, then they come to the church for programming. We have a guest speaker and a band coming in too for Friday night and Saturday evening. It is a lot of fun, but it is also a very spiritual time too. I have been doing this retreat for about 10 years, but this is my first time to organize it. The good news is that we are partnering with another church in the area, so they are taking care of the band and speaker as well as the study for the weekend.

sounds really wonderful for the kids and very uplifting too!
Is your church Baptist or pentecostal? If u don't mind my asking....

I enjoyed some peanut Mand M's today. My favorite snack but not too good for the intestines!!!:cool:Oh well, gotta give in sometimes, right?:thumleft:

Nope! Don't mind! It is United Methodist.

Apparently very Spirit filled though! Nice! I was married to my first husband in a Methodist church. I went to their youth group and the Pastor there was one of the coolest guys I ever met. He had a real connection with the kds and knew how to make worship fun for teens. Sadly, he is with the Lord now. Not sad for him but for us!!!:rosette2:

no, but sometimes I do. they seem to be in hairline a lot, do you get them there, or anybody with psoriasis?

I have them all over my head, but I do get alot in hairline. Some will go away, but others I've had since it started 2 yrs. ago.

True. The pastor up the road from our church just passed this week as well. He had stage four brain cancer and was only diagnosed this past October. When I was a lot younger, we used to go to his church, so I don't remember him that well. If I was going to be home, I would have probalby gone the the funeral. But at least he is not suffering any more and is in a much better place!

I get them anywhere also, but more in my hairline, and they are slower to go there. what helps? I sometimes use Selsum Blue, but it is so expensive

Believe it or not, I looked it up and they claim u should put apple cidar vinegar on your scalp and leave it on for awhile. I tried it a couple times, but it stinks and couldn't stand it. I think it is a side affect of crohn's.:frown:

I know it can be side affect off crohns, or other things too. I had bad eczema as a kid, really bad, and always had skin problems.

Big Hunk candy bars are very chewy nougat (tastes a little like divinity candy) with peanuts in it.

Hi, I am back at the computer. My pressie to myself this year was an iphone4 - once I get it up and running then I should be here more often, rather than waiting until I get home. I miss you all too. Our weather has been hot although we did have a bad squall the other day. Work is good, cats are great. Constipation sucks and so do I am maintaining my lactulose daily dosage. I know I have to work on it. :D

I second the Friday win :D doesn't actually feel like a Friday to me seeing as I just went back to work yesterday, but then I remember and feel brilliant!

Never know what day it is at the best of times (the joys of retirement) but have to check my phone or the daily paper, especially after the holidays......Taking the win from my favourite country and second home.

Just booked our air to the Hawaii cruise this fall ... woot! 99 days til our Caribbean cruise ... woot! Happy day today, not for my visa but for me lol.

Didn't do anything of note yet (except wake up), but here for my Friday win as well. You can all quit posting now.

Remember I told you we were going to go see the Hobbit tmoro? Well, Hubs informed me he very well may have to work. Sunday he will be too tired to move I bet! Hoping he will be able to rise from the ashes and get his butt in gear!:ylol2::ylol2::ylol2:

We saw it, was pretty good, I kinda found the first hour boring and unnecessary though. Best popcorn of my life that day too, dunno what they did to it but it was deelish. There we go talking about popcorn again and making everyone want it lol.

that's a shame,but I expect it will run for a while.There's nothing worse than tired,grumpy men.Best place for them is in bed......ALONE:ysmile:

I feel you, Teresa. Mine has been working 6-7 days a week for 2 months, he's exhausted, poor thing. I was getting on his nerves lastnight, lol!

All we have to do to get on their nerves after work is....Talk!!!They hate that! Once a lady at church told me she tried not talking to her husband for months unless he spoke first to her!!! Boy, would it be quiet around here. Mine only talks to tell me about how soand so did this at work and ticked him off. Or if someone buys a picture from him or if he wants dinner!!!!!!:stinks:

Ok, so I need your advice girls. Should I go back to a redhead or stay blonde??? Which way did i look best?:shifty:

Well give me some time - I will give this some serious research

One on left isn't a redhead! Mine would be RED! Like lightest auburn? That's what I use to be. Everyone in the family keeps saying when are you going to go back to red, because they were just used to it. I like blonde and hubs likes it light too. So :voodoo:what????
