Lonesome Dove-there is a besom filter that can be engaged on here,if things get out of hand.

My wife said I'm a winner..what's that dear?..a wanker? H,m,m,m...close enough.

I hate that,K., You start thinking about all the rubbish you haven't got time to worry about during the day. Are you asleep now ? Do you want a story ?

Winning

Aura,go back and read some of my posts, you'll be snoozing in no time. :yfaint:

A pre work win!!

where are you all, is there a party going on I haven't been invited to ?

Having a party here, going off of steroids today party, and you're invited! in fact, you are all invited. But you will have to bring cakes and cookies.

Mayo Clinic referral but I'm on board for the party with cake and cookies!

Good news on stopping the steroids!

Hey all, just thought I'd drop in for the win, hey Shanen hope the Mayo referral isn't serious, DougUte, sorry your win was so short. SandyBee - great news on the steriods, hey Trev, how you doing? Hi Kristie, I hope you're okay. Hey Carol, what's up - play nice - its my job to be mean remember? Dave sorry about the win and no lumps by the lake, but I'll take mine by the ocean in Oregon in 17 days when I go on holiday. did you guys chase Robert away again?

Winning

Why do we have to have cakes and cookies at the party ?

I prefer savoury, you all can have the sweet.

Robert thinks he's being a tease by just showing up occassionaly, when he's actually just being annoying. It's a man thing !!!

It was a diabetic craving Carol. And Teresa talking to me via email about making some cookies. She said to say hi to all of you, for those that remember her (or don't).

However, I'm still diabetic and still want the sweets. And savoury. First day without steroids, but I still slept like #:)$@ last night, have to go to work for a few hours, and I think my body is falling apart. I know you all know that feeling in your own ways. So I'll shut up my orneriness and just take the win.

Winning!

Morning all, don't like sweet either, savory or salty for me please....although with the nasty little pills salt is not a good idea so just savory please. It is a man thing, totally typical - sort of like showing up at dinner time.

Winning

Actually G., you're right,it does sound a bit like "MY WAY":drink::drink:

Hope there is something good on tonight - everything here is still re-runs till the new season starts again unless you watch reality programming and I figure that I get enough reality everyday. Have a good night and I will take the win.

I'm laster than you, and still grumpy. And a little quackers. (I liked that quack!) I had to stop at the local emergency room on the way home from my easy job because walking up one flight of stairs left me breathless, heart racing, sweating and grey. I was scared so drove straight there. Nothing significant found in blood tests, three EKGs (hard to get a good one because breathing put "static" in the lines) and they got me stabilized and comfortable enough with meds to send me home. It appears I'll be spending some time with my primary care physician having him order my pulmonary function tests over the next little while. In the mean time, as long as I can't do much without getting winded, I'll bug all of you. So I'm winning.

Just got home from the ER. My wife fell while hiking and broke her wrist.Roll reversal with me bringing her to hospital. We are Home and she is snoozing and healing now. A,h,h,h...tomorrow morning at work will be a challenge.

She is a grumpy patient.

Winning!!! I think that is what my turtle dove said through the meds.

Oh fun times ahead being nurse Dave ;) I'm home hubs comes home tonight he has been in Auckland at a conference. I have a friend flying out to Vancouver tonight too :) I'm jealous :)

Aura-my wife sees herself as the caretaker.Just because I have had multiple operations and have cat whiskers(setons)growing out my ass and you can knock me over with a feather from time to time and all the lovely CD related goodies my wife has put up with...I will take care of her. She has been there for me and I can do no less for her.I just hope she doesn't womp me with her cast.

Sending best wishes and support to your good lady. Be patient with her when she starts throwing her weight around. I hate anyone doing things for me,I'm far too independent.:thumleft:

Huh!

What a rabble on this page. A duck, a bee, a dog and cats. Should all he hosed down and put in a cage.

Must you be sooooo miserable ??

I was going to say you were much nicer when you were a regular player, but you weren't if I recall. :p

Hey - great post!

I like the way you researched and constructed your response.

It certainly put me in my place.

Have you considered a career in journalism?

Now go away and leave the path clear for me and the Team.

Who is this Robert person who is full of his own importance ???

If you're reading this R.747,you have to be part of the community if you want to have opinions that we might take notice of !!!

Question

If the Scots vote to leave the UK today - will we still have to listen to their weather forecast on the news?

Wow, double duty! Let me hold the win for you, Shanen, while you gently come out of your fog. I hope all is well. Rest up! You're going to need the fight because I'm anticipating lack of sleep the next couple weeks. And going to be around. To bug all of you. :ghug:

On second thought, I'll keep the win, I'm back on steroids for a couple weeks, got poked with needles my own share today (they never could get a line in after an hour of making me a pin cushion trying to give me contrast die to go with a CT scan), and I have orders to "drink up" before I go back in for a second try tomorrow. ~Hic~. Oh, did they say water?

I win it's jab night tonight. We have our election tomorrow. But if the scot is a yes then NZ and oz would need to change flags as the blue represents Scotland in the Union Jack

Good luck today SandyUte! I'm exhausted and feeling vulnerable,so I'm gonna sneak a win and scoot :eek:utahere: A cuppa would be nice...

:sign0085: Is this because your better half is giving you lists of things to do ?:yfaint: Feel better soon (both of you)

Do you still get Canada's and Australia's? I shouldn't think so but I may be wrong - I've been wrong before - Winning

No we don't and nor do we get Southern Irelands.

It was a NO vote so it's a bit hyperthetical now.:uk_flag::uk_flag::uk_flag:

Hi Kirsty,I hope you're off work tomorrow so you can have a nice long lie in then brekky in bed.

If you have to work, you're going to be in a sorry state so start counting those sheep !!! A little trick that works for me ; get comfy, then repeat (in your head) I WILL NOT SLEEP,I WILL NOT SLEEP .............Works every time. Night night x

Lol Carol. It's sat so no work. It's post jab weekend so I will sleep half of it anyway :)

Kirsty, I changed my jab till tomorrow so that I don't lose the day at work so I'll be sleeping away my weekend too (if the steroids let me)! I hope you feel better soon.
Hey All, hope everyone has a great weekend and Dave I hope you and your wife feel better soon and Sandy yes they meant water (LOL). Shanen I hope that you feel better too! Scottsma thanks for the answer to my question and guys your letting your end down on the winning thing.....

Winning:drink:

well it looks like all you crohnies are having a bit of a hairy time just now.

So does that mean I get the win ALL week-end !!!

Seriously though,my friends (and others hahaha) take it easy and feel better very soon HUGS

Just got a CT scan, testing for possible pulmonary embolism. Yikes! Between yesterday and today I have sixteen new holes in my arms. Yikes again! Because of where and when tested, don't know if I'll have the results before the end of day today, Friday. Good chance I'll have to wait for the weekend to end. Hopefully, if pulmonary embolism is the problem, the medical personnel will put this on the fast track, but I don't have much faith in them (primary care doc, yes, but rest of them, no.)

Winning! The steroids do help me breath better.

No, I'm here to torment all the Looney Club.

Oh oh! Doctor office just called, wants me to go right back. Brining you loonies with me in my pocket.

This is Sandy on Doug's tablet, sitting here in exam room waiting. Thanks for all your support, will let you know when I can.

Hummira buddy said hi back, Kirsti.

Bad news is I do have a couple blood clots in lungs, (and most likely, therefore, deep vein thrombosis) good news is they caught it before it went to heart or another stroke and have developed newer blood thinning meds that they can treat me with, and consider me stable enough to treat me at home. I'm just glad for the answers! And no hospitals!

Hey Sandy sorry to hear you have some clots. But very glad they found them before they moved towards heart etc. good that they can treat at home too. Hopefully knowin can give you some relief. :)

I'm with Kirsty, happy that they found the little beggars and can get them before they cause trouble and that the treatment can be at home. Take very good care of you.

I'm glad they caught it too :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :). Being a good little couch potato, trying to not move too much, but enough to keep good circulation. Trying not to bleed anywhere, ha ha. Just glad to get good treatment now.Doug, would you let the dog out? Winning!

The wife got a cast, from her wrist to her elbow, yesterday. It will be on for six weeks we are told. She keeps muttering about it being damn inconvenient, she is a teensy bit cranky.

Yup,I've been cooking,doing dishes..all that househusband stuff...but I still have time for a win!

...and if she asks,it wasn't me who called her cranky,o.k.?

My hubby has stated that I'm cranky lately. I just smile...and maybe fluff the covers later. Enuff said.
