Hi guys, things are improving daily, wish they would hurry up. Also wish I could wear pants. Some of you may call them trousers, had to clear that up. I have lost the days, crohns brain. Take care guys, good luck to your hubby Shannon for his op.
Winning very slowly.

Trousers are highly overrated in my opinion. Good to hear you're doing better Trev!

No you're not Shanen. I hope your Hubs recovers well. Most men are like babies when they're sick or in pain, even slightly. (I don't mean YOU Kev. )

Don't rush things Trev.you may never get another chance to be waited on ;)

You can whisper if you don't want the others to know.  ;)

Oh ye trev do tell lol ;)
Hope all are well !!

No, no! I don't want to know!
I got an update on my friend, all is about the same. I just hope she is not suffering.
I have the unfortunate task (ha ha) of having to go get ready for a massage then a visit with a friend. So I really am winning today.

Hi there, great to hear from you Trev. I'm due at hospital next Wednesday at 8 am for a prolonged fast! I'm waiting for a nurse to phone to tell me how long is prolonged!

Hey Trev when you get pants on let me know, and I'll pop round for a cuppa. I'll be in the Naki in November :)

Tee shirt, ugg boots and a dressing gown, so quite respectable. And for getting waited on hand and foot, well that doesn't happen in my house, Debs doesn't handle sick people, the most I will get is being told to die quietly. Must be why I come on here to whinge. A cuppa is way overdue Kirsty, Debs has been doing lots of baking in her new toy.
Thanks for the win.

Time for me to go clean the kitchen and figure out what I'm going to feed Doug when he gets home. I ended up with a migraine last night, then the tramadol kept me awake. I ended up chatting with a friend from my church at 3:00 am. She just found out that she has a neurological condition called arnold chiari syndrome which is where the bottom of the brain has pushed into the spinal column. My friends are falling apart.:ywow:
Today is going to be better though.

My friend broke her hip two winters ago, slipping on ice.She was in plaster for 8wks and ended with her leg 3ins shorter. On Tuesday she slipped while getting out of the bath, and broke her knee in the same leg. She's plastered from hip to ankle for another 8wks.
It's her poor hubby I feel sorry for.She's a nag even when she's well.hahaha.
Also her year old grandson who lives in New York, had his leg amputated last week, due to a birth deformity. It took them a few days to get his pain under control.Poor little mite.

Winning with appreciation. There's always some one worse off than I am.

You can tell a turtles gender by the noise it makes:........Males grunt and females hiss.

Much like people eh ?

Winning with intelligence.

Hey Carol I think the All Blacks are in your neck of the woods. They playing now in Newcastle

Oh sandy, that is fabulous news i am so happy for you. Glad our prayers are being answered. Hope all continues to go well...
I'll pray that she makes a full recovery from here on in xx

Yes I was wondering if you were watching.Newcastle is about 8ml up the river from the coast.I haven't been "up the TOON" for years. It's a lovely city and riverside but I'm NOT a city girl.

But I am winning:dance::dance::dance:

PS. I LOVE the HAKA,always have.

I've been to Alnwick, that's as far north as I've been in UK. I like it when there are two challenges going like the Tonga Haka then the NZ one, it's great to watch.

We often have a drive to Alnwick. It takes about an hour.
Alnwick Castle is good.I took my Ausie grandkids there at the height of the Harry Potter craze. It was a lot of money, over £100,but worth it.There's a new (ish) thing going now,at some of the popular visitor places. You pay once, then get in for free for a year.I (we) don't like crowds and try not to go to places at holiday times. We've just had a walk around the Station. It's Victorian with glass and wrought iron roofing. On weekends there's a huge market/craft fair, which is always interesting. But the prices they charge for stuff I've thrown out in the past is horrifying.hahaha.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who pays for things then regrets it. And I too love to watch the haka dance, but we had an incident in Utah a few years ago when some haka dancers in a small rural town got sprayed with mace by police who didn't understand the tradition. Kind of spoiled it for a lot of people.
With that happy note, good morning sunshines. :sun:

Go Utes! My beloved team just won another one. We are undefeated this season, ranked #5 in the county, and just beat another undefeated team (University of California, Berkeley). Can't complain.
(So glad you are improving Trev, but Kirsty is right, it tales time. Hang in there. )
Where is Trysha? Is she okay?
G'night all! Feel well, better.

Hi im here for a quick win b4 shopping, hope all are well ,or getting better, love n best wishes to you all, take care my friends , hugs all round !x

A Boeing 747 (Roberts quiet AGAIN) 400 has 6 million parts,147 miles of wiring, and a wingspan about twice as long as the Wright Bros. first flight.

Winning impressively.

Snuggled down in front of the TV. for the rest of today.
I'm excited as one of my fave.authors has a new release so I'm just going to google it.
If I stayed off this PC contraption I might get caught up with the 25+ books I have waiting to be read. Winning.

Winning all the time :) hospital day for me tomorrow, so today is a do whatever I like day :)

Here's a ~yawn~ waking up from a long nap win. Felt good. Helped with a large family dinner yesterday and did a lot of cooking and Doug and I did most of the cleaning up after. Felt good to be able to be doing things again.
Definitely winning. Hope all of you are doing as well as you can.

Just off to the shops.I incorporate it into my daily walk sometimes. When I walk with Les he strolls, but when I feel ok I like to walk briskly alone.Mind you,I'm not so brisk on the way back home.Catch you all later.

Hope the day went ok for you Kirsty.
Happy Thanksgiving Grumpy,do/did you have the day off ?

Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving too, Grumpy. I'm off to get a zillion things done before the day's end, so you all can fight out the win for a few hours.
I'm the real winner, though, my friend not expected to make it awhile back is now out of intensive care and off all life support, able to walk and talk.

Hey Sandy that is fabulous news hun. Im so so pleased for her and you , what a lovely bit of news to come home to made my day. God keep her well n improving day by day. Thanks to God for listening to our prayers. Winning for your friend !!

Carol, was off for both Friday and Monday so it was nice and yes I did have a quiet yet happy Thanksgiving, cooked a ham, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots for my mom and me (mostly my mom seeing as I can't eat again) and a pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I hope that everyone has a great day. Winning

The forum has been extremely slow today as well as not being available once or twice.

Have a good day / evening peeps.

Kirsty,Trysha and Trev. Hope things are looking good for you x

Looks like a lot of my days Sandy. Upright and breathing today so I guess I can't complain. (Although the insensitive jerks who continuously come to work sick and hack all over everything are ticking me off. :voodoo:)

Welcome to the "Loony Bin" Ron.
We need some fresh blood, but be warned,we take no prisoners.
We have found in the past, that for all thier bravado, men can't compete with us.

Thought for the day.....Canada is a mistake,it means village of Iroquoian. When asked what the land was called by an explorer in 1534,the locals said "This is our village"

Coming up for air
Still in hospital in a state of splendid isolation with MRSA....
Things are healing gradually but I have to be in rehab for awhile
It's a lovely room with a picture window overlooking the Niagara Escarpment
The food is very high grade after an eon with clear fluids
Can't stay ill with such a beautiful view and wonderful caring staff
Hope Trev is making a good recovery
I feel better in some ways for the surgery which was laparoscopic
Six incisions two infections but on the way to healing
Winning........

Oh Trysha,it's lovely to hear from you,but NOT with that sad news !!!

I'm glad you're being well looked after though, that's most important.Nothing ever seems to be straight forward for you does it ? Hope you feel better soon x

Now children, you all know who the real Champ is,but carry on and play nicely amongst youselves if it makes you happy.

Really Ron !!! It's not long since I welcomed you to the Loony Bin and you're doing that "MAN" thing already........

Now children, you all know who the real Champ is,but carry on and play nicely amongst youselves if it makes you happy.

Yep. The real champ is me. :) :) :) And I like smiley faces too.

Trysha, nooooooooooo! I wish your life were easier for you. I just had a girlfriend take the redeye back to New York, where she took one day to go see Niagra Falls. She loved them. So you both enjoyed some aspect of the Falls, but from different sides. I thought of you the whole time she was there. Feel better soon. 🌸

And just saw you're post, I'm doing fairly well today. How are you? I hope you're over your nausea.[
